Locomotive Facilities

MEIs Locomotive shop is a state-of-the-art repair facility to service all of your locomotive needs.
  • Eighteen six axle work spots, with twelve under four overhead cranes that have the capability of lifting 45 ton
  • Three inspection pits for traction motor and truck repairs
  • Three jacking locations for truck and wheel/combo removal
  • Fabrication shop
  • Warehousing and parts room
  • Approximately 175 storage spots for locomotives on property
  • Inventory of used RTO parts

Locomotive Paint Facility

  • 4 100’ Rooms - Paint Line
  • Separate 100’ wash bay with oil/water separator
  • Annual output in excess of 100 units
